The building, originally the Kaohsiung Port Waiting Studio with a 50-year history located in Kaohsiung Pier-2, has been transformed by Cheng Gang Development Co., Ltd. into a distinctive boutique hotel - "Kaohsiung Port Waiting Studio x PAPO'A".

Due to its 50-year history, the original building required extensive refurbishment. Apart from structural repairs, the guest rooms' original surfaces also had numerous holes that needed cleaning and reinforcement.

/ Renovation Process Overview:

1. Grinding with a 120-grit metal disc.

2. Application of Bonddex ARC-76 (concrete bonding agent for new and old concrete).

3. Allow to dry (turns transparent blue).

4. Application of Bonddex Pin Holes Repairing material. In this case, ARC-76 mixed with pore repair material was used to increase strength.

5. Grinding after drying.

6. Final application of Bonddex BCS concrete water-based sealer for added strength.

This process was undertaken to ensure the structural integrity and aesthetic enhancement of the guest rooms at PAPO'A Harbor Hotel.
